Easter 2019

Christ has died. Christ has risen. Christ will come again.

At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus. A humble and understated event. Yet at Easter we firstly remember that Jesus suffered a very public and horrible death on a cross between two criminals. Then after three days, on Easter Sunday, he came back to life.

So what’s this all about? If we are honest, we’ll admit that none of us are perfect. So Jesus died that we could be forgiven and live in the way that God intended. New life is the essence of Easter and it’s available to everyone. We’d love to welcome you to Rayleigh Baptist Church this Easter. Come along and find out what Easter is really all about.
